History

Royalty was established in the Summer of 2019, to better prepare young people of color for the world in which they live. To date, our 2020 graduate Anthony Whitfield owns his own landscaping business “Touch of Life”. We originated at The Colmar Manor Town Hall and saw great success in collaboration with NFC Academy based in Florida to serve as a satellite school. We also partnered with various community organizations such as the The Town of Colmar Manor, Cottage City Police Department, Jacobs Ladder Youth Foundation and multiple other organizations to provide an environment for young men to thrive in, closed during the Spring of 2020 due to multiple factors including Covid 19. We have since relocated to the Temple Hills Area, and began a new partnership with Penn Foster as our curriculum sponsor for the upcoming year. We have secured partnerships with organizations in Cyber Security, Creative arts, financial literacy and a multitude of other fields to give students a real world skills in our innovation programs. We are expanding our sports offerings as well and are truly looking forward to what the future will hold.
